Eleanor is a classic luxemotor with beautiful lines and a well-designed interior, suited for year-round living aboard and cruising the inland waterways of Europe. The barge has been well-maintained, surveyed regularly and is centrally moored in the medium-sized French town of Roanne, about 1 hour from Lyon, 4 hours from Paris via TGV. Eleanor is a much-photographed boat, gracing the cover of the Roanne tourist office brochure, as well as the pages of GEO and Fluvial magazines . . . a grande old dame with whom to experience life and travel in France at a civilized, leisurely pace.
